The digital transformation is a nedesity in all companies, and SMEs were not going to be left behind. The necessary change towards a model based on new technologies is unstoppable, and it is expected that in the coming years it will consolidate even more.

But have the new companies been able to adapt to the changes that this new model brings us? Well, for the moment, it seems so. And, according to the latest report PACT (People, Actions, Collaboration and Technology), prepared by Fujitsu, more than 50% of companies are already seeing results in their digital transformation projects.

To do this, the report analyzes, companies of all sizes throughout the national territory and also globally. Almost half of them say that they already see results in their projects and that the client, in 68.2% of cases, is the most influential factor in their strategy, ahead of competitors, new players in their sector, ‘partners’, consultants, etc.

However, 36% acknowledge having canceled a digital transformation project in the last two years with a cost close to half a million euros. Likewise, it is important to highlight that they affirm that there is a 10% of the programmed projects that are not executed.

This is the third report by the Japanese company, a true reference in the ICT sector, highlights the need to implement a digital vision and strategy, because right now it is not enough to choose the right technology.

For this, it analyzes four key elements on which the focus must be put : people as a decisive factor that contributes to the success of the digital transformation; the actions aimed at having the correct processes and attitudes; collaboration and co-creation to implement measures to achieve it, and technology as the tool that will radically change business.
