What is a combination boiler?

Combination boilers are amongst the most common styles of boilers that are installed by Boiler installation Cheltenham companies like HPR in homes today. This is often due to the fact that they are very space-efficient and also because they are very economical to run. They do not require the need for a water storage tank to be located in your attic or elsewhere in your home.

Combi boilers supply hot water to your home that is used both for your radiators in order to heat the interior of your home and also for your hot water taps. They produce the hot water on an on-demand basis which is why there is no need for a storage tank. This makes them incredible economically as they are not continually heating large tanks of water that is then not used. It also means that you are only paying for the energy needed to heat the hot water that you are going to use.

As they are responsible for both the hot water that you need for your heating as well as the hot water from your taps it is incredibly important that you have the system regularly maintained to ensure that it is in full working order and running efficiently.

There are many benefits to having a combination boiler installed but it is important that you speak with a professional engineer to make sure that you have a boiler that is suitable for the size of your home and your family needs.
