Nearly every little girl has heard the popular Grimm Brother’s Fairy-tale story of Cinderella, her terrible Step-Mother and her Mean, Ugly Sisters. The awful way in which Cinderella was treated and how she had to scrub floors, wash dishes and was never allowed to have new clothes or go to nice places. The Handsome Prince who lives in the Castle near-by sends out invitations to every unmarried lady in town to a grand Ball that he is hosting to look for a future wife. The two ugly Sisters receive their invitations but throw away the third invitation meant for Cinderella. The exciting day arrives and Cinderella helps the ugly sisters get ready for the Ball and then carries on cleaning the house.
Cinderella is then visited by her Fairy Godmother who provides her with a beautiful ball gown to wear alongside her famous pair of glass slippers. Her Coach is made from a pumpkin and several mice who are magically transformed into horses. Cinderella arrives at the Castle where she walks down the magnificent staircase with its Glass Balustrade and is noticed by the Prince. After dancing together all night Cinderella must leave at midnight before her coach and horses turn back into a pumpkin and mice. Her glass slipper is left behind and used by the prince to find her.
