When it comes to moving house there is one part that we all dread – packing! But if you follow a few simple rules, it doesn’t need to be as stressful as you think….

Make sure that you have all the packing supplies you need before you begin – Get well stocked up with plenty of boxes and bubble wrap before you start to pack anything. You don’t want to get halfway through and run out so make sure that you have plenty before you start.

Book a Removal Company – Using a removal company will make the whole moving process much less stressful, but make sure you book one early so that you have the peace of mind. Relocate removals provide house removals Essex services.

Have a sort out – This is a great opportunity to sort out what you do and don’t need – don’t transport all of your clutter to your new home. As you pack, sort items into three separate sections – to keep, to bin and to give to charity. Many charities do collection services too, so this can make it a lot easier for you.

Ensure all Larger Items are Ready to Go – Some furniture may need to be dismantled to be moved, so check this and start to take anything apart. Get things like washing machines and cookers safely removed if you are going to be taking them with you.

Get Help – Friends and Family can be great at times like these – order a few pizzas and get everyone round to help out – as the saying goes, many hands make light work!
