Firstly, CCTV drain survey are vital in order to check drain and sewers are not damaged and are working properly. They allow data to be gathered safely without risking the safety of anyone due to confined spaces. They do this by using high, remote access technology.

Why are CCTV surveys needed?

They help with pipe repairs or replacements, construction projects and are necessary to planned preventative maintenance programmes (PPMP). They are used to assist with important investigations of drain and sewer problems. These problems can include poor flow rates, blockages and pollution incidents. This can prevent several dangerous, and even life-threatening events from occurring. They have become more common over the years making CCTV drain surveys even more necessary.
