What style to decorate your bathroom? The 2018 Trends

Choosing that bathroom suite is a tricky task. It’s going to be a room you’ll want to relax in a nice hot tub or a quick hop in the shower to the contemplation of the toilet. Perhaps it’s for your business, what should you go for to make an impression? Let’s look at what the latest designers are suggesting and what the movers and shakers are going for. We can show you the style but if you’d like a really clean loo for your business then this Washroom Services Gloucestershire company might be what you’re looking for. Give them a click at http://simplehygienesolutions.co.uk/ Let’s look at the new trends.

  1. Indigo Blue. I really like blue in the bathroom. Many say it’s too cold a colour but I like my bathroom to be a bit nautical. It seems that modern designers agree with me that blue sea shades for tiles are really in at the moment combined with the traditional white porcelain and ceramic of the units. Some call it a “sophisticated combination”.

  1. Stand out bright colours. The many themes that designers are pushing is that pastel and greys are right out. Big bold colours are what are required. It’s time to bring back “drama and luxury”. The Bath can be orange the sink units green and don’t forget to have a busy mosaic wallpaper.
  2. Going back in time. However whilst we have all that brightness going on there is also a movement to get us back to the Edwardian/Victorian style. This has been in vogue for many years and shows no sign of stopping. It might be a safe option but it’s a classy one. Lots decorative tiling on the floor and ceramic taps. It says wow and the heritage element give gravitas.
  3. Sunken baths. Always popular although we think of them as being more of an 1970’s icon to have the sunken bath has come back into vogue. It’s cool and indulgent and the author is pleased because they’ve always wanted one.

  1. Getting really modern and up to date with style is the use of Narrow modular furniture. It’s a great way of maximising the space that you have and allow you to get in large bathroom suite pieces, like the sunken bath.
  2. Using a Matt finish. Most of the time its gloss all the way but now the matt finish is coming into fashion, especially as it has the practical advantage of cover up grubby hand marks so much better for families.
  3. Getting the metal out. Shiny metallic is great to emphasis lines and contours of the bathroom. Plus, who doesn’t like a bit of bling. Not too much though, no designer is proposing a big art deco bathroom revival, yet.

Hope this gives you some ideas.
