Living in Exciting, Beautiful Barnstable is certainly not Boring!

Located in the South-West of Britain in the beautiful Devonshire Countryside, Barnstable is an exciting hubbub of shops, restaurants, theatres, museums, cinemas, homes and work places.  The lucky locals and residents never have to ask themselves, “What can we do in Barnstaple in the evening”? There is so much to do in the town throughout the day and Things to do in Barnstaple in the evening that they never get bored.  Built at the lowest point of the majestic River Taw its population of just over twenty-four thousand consider themselves fortunate to be so close to nature yet have access to every amenity they could possibly want.

Only fifty miles from the seaside Port and City of Plymouth, Barnstable provides its residents with great Ofsted rated Schools, plenty of affordable housing, good job prospects and a wonderful place to raise a family. With a favourable yearly climate of warm Summer days and cool, wet Winters Barnstable’s keen gardeners and farmers have the ideal temperature and climate for their crops to flourish.

With some interesting historical features such as the “Queen Ann’s Chapel” found in the local Churchyard and the “Queen Ann’s Walk” erected in 1708 the town of Barnstable is founded on; history, human resilience, a humanitarian culture and honour.  With its own 11th Century wooden Castle and nearby Tawstock Stately Manor, Barnstable is rich in historical interest.  Having the best of all the modern-day amenities intermingled with historical buildings makes Barnstable an exciting place to live, work and raise a family.
