In some cases the mobility issues may require the need for Mobility Aids like the ones from Ability Superstore for the individual to be able to get around safely. There are a variety of support equipment pieces that can be used to help with a variety of the symptoms that MS has.

Some of the main symptoms that are associated with MS are:

  • Mobility issues such as difficulty with walking
  • Blurred vision and other sight issues
  • Extreme tiredness and fatigue
  • Incontinence
  • Balance and coordination issues
  • Cognitive problems such as memory issues
  • Tingling and numbness in areas of the body

In some cases individuals will experience symptoms that come and go, this is known as relapsing remitting MS and others will have MS symptoms that build up in intensity over time, this is known as primary progressive MS.

MS is essentially an autoimmune condition and this is where your immune system starts to attack the healthy parts of a body and in the case of MS the immune system starts to attack the nervous system, the spinal cord and the brain.
